This film captures the inaugural Edinburgh Tartan Parade that took place from The Royal Mile in the heart of historic Edinburgh on Saturday May 10th, starting at 1pm from City Chambers, the route then weaving down Cockburn Street, over Waverley Bridge, through East Princes Street Gardens to The National Galleries at The Mound. The 1600 parade participant & volunteers were then welcomed to the free Ceilidh in the Gardens at Ross Band Stand, in Princes Street Gardens and later the public treated to the celebration concert at Usher Hall to close what was, a most memorable day. With thanks to everyone that participated on the day, we look forward to welcoming you back on May 9th 2026.
